Our Journey to Gentle
The journey of Therapy in Abar began with a personal struggle that many can relate to—dealing with skin issues. After trying countless products that didn’t work, I discovered cold process soaps. These soaps, made from simple natural ingredients and oils without harsh chemicals, completely transformed my skin. My breakouts decreased, sensitivity lessened, and I finally achieved the healthy balance my skin had always wanted.
Inspired by this positive change, I started Therapy in Abar. What began with one special soap has grown into a complete range of handcrafted personal care products. Therapy in Abar was never meant to be just a soap brand. It began as a question: why should daily skin care mean synthetic shortcuts, undisclosed ingredients, and products made for mass appeal rather than real skin? Every bar I make starts with a single decision to use ingredients that earn their place. Cold process soap preserves what most commercial formulas discard: natural glycerin, botanical potency, and the integrity of every raw material that goes in. Nothing is added for the label. Everything is added for the skin.
Slow beauty means taking the time to cure properly, source honestly, and formulate with intention rather than speed. It means a Berry Burst bar that gets its glow from actual plum, blueberry, and raspberry extracts, not a synthetic fragrance blend designed to approximate fruit.
